Its almost time to strike the match and walk away as the house burns to the ground for a fresh start on a new foundation of solid rock principles…..the wise man builds his house upon a rock!
That thought crossed my mind, but for a new party to rise up and become dominant will take decades and great effort. But, a MAGA wing of the GOP, if the grassroots were large enough, could not be ignored by party leaders. Meanwhile, we have to fight the uphill battle to become part of the GOP leadership.
to be honest, I'm split between 'let them rot', and 'take over the GOP, but expect a lengthy political war'.
I'm becoming less convinced we should need an official political party, and just vote on character and principles (as opposed to party lines). but I also realize it's human nature to form groups of like minded people.
I’m not anymore… I was not reelected, but you’ll be happy to know. The people who were elected are extremely conservative… Not that that reflects the voter make up in King County but at least to those who want to remain ideologically pure but I’m sure they’ll come a day when even these folks won’t be pure enough for some.
The big problem the WA GOP is going to have is if they are going to remain ideologically pure or try to bring in enough voters to increase their votes in the blue counties. Sadly, it's one or the other with the way King County runs the state. Unless things get remarkably worse in the state (and we're heading that way), then I don't see the GOP picking off enough people to win with the way our voting system allows for the Dems to count votes for weeks and cheat they way they do.
first and foremost, the voting system MUST GO. like last decade. The cheating in THIS election cycle was much worse than previous ones.
The GOP, in general, has an image problem, too. I've heard many things about the GOP's inability to fill vacant PCO seats, as well as being weak on election integrity and accountability.
There's also the laws passed (about 20 years ago), that benefit the Dems/GOP (major political party law), which is why we have Uniparty rule here. That law, as well as the 'jungle' primary ALSO need to go.
Maybe we should go back to closed primaries (or do away with the primary system altogether).
Yes, we need closed primaries and get rid of top 2. Unfortunately, I really don't see the election laws in WA changing unless the Feds get involved. If we can get rid of mail in, at least for Federal elections, we have a chance to take back some power.
The uniparty will ruin us and we have to primary out those that support it.
The left will continue down the path that CA has done and make it worse and worse here. Hopefully, that will cause people to change their minds but somehow I doubt it.
this is a critical time, where more are awakening to the truth about the political parties, and the people who run them. it's going to take a while. but I believe we'll be the better fornit, when all is said and done.
Furthermore, people complaining about being at the mercy of the donor class don’t give money to the party so the golden rule… He, who has the gold makes the rules if you guys wanna have any power people need to start giving money
Pierce County reorganization meeting is happening at my cousin’s church. I hope to God nobody reading this plans on harming the people or the church. I hear an awful lot of people complaining about the party but not ever making the effort to get elected as a PCO. That happens in May and the next elections won’t happen until 2026 so if you want to get appointed, then you’re gonna be at the mercy of the leadership. Once you become a PCO, then you have to learn the lay of the land, who is who, and strategize with other like-minded PCO‘s to run for leadership positions. The leadership of all the county parties is going to be happening in December for King County. It will be December 7 in Newcastle.
What in the name of God would you make such a strange statement...? Thinking someone on this thread would so harm at the church?? Insane...unless you are talking about McMullen and or antifa or Gergen, condotta, McKee...wow...
Strike a match and let the whole place burn? And then you think what I said was strange? You need to go look at the first comment. That’s why I said what I said. Trust me when I say this if any harm comes to that church I will be turning in this thread to the authorities.

Who specifically have you spoken to that has not listened? Cause I’m a region nine representative to the state party and I’m here listening.
it looks like King County is a different beast than what's going on in Pierce County.
Also, I'm relieved you're still part of the King County GOP, Kerry.

...that seems to be the case for any 'group' or tribe: extremists at both ends, with the rest in the middle.
there's no overnight fix for a 20+ year problem, unfortunately.

These are just my own thoughts.

I wondered about Bird and why he didn't advance. We have to exspose these folks public and on social media. Thank you Jena for all you do!
He's never made any effort to become a member or adhere to the requirements in the bylaws. It's just a psy-op.
